My compliments, deities. It is a curse trying to read the entries today.

Where did you go, Nightmare?

Almost to Hell but I'm back again. Don't worry, I know you missed us.

Details about your journey, Nightmare? The pantheon of Nemesis added a new deity today, we should keep a close contact to avoid disappearances.

I doubt that cult was involved, but the coincidence piques my curiosity.

Ran into an ill-begotten son who thought himself a bigger monster than me or his dad. He's been dealt with, severely, so I doubt he'll have anything to say to Nemesis' pantheon.

Your ranks have increased as I see. What about your plan against Nemesis?

Only slightly. As for Nemesis, he's been on vacation as of late hasn't he? No one to judge, no one to kill. The last one slighted him before his departure though.

The arrival of the new one could mean a return to activity.

I'd like to think they'd only try to kill each other, as gods are wont to do.

I don't share the optimism.

Ah, but surely you cannot fault the young their attempt, Lady. Rather beastly to amuse ourselves at the expense of such formidable explorers in the literary arts !

You-- You were the garden.

Meadow, Lady. And the patio.

Occasionally, foyer.

...the Lord had interesting whims.
Thessaly: is that so?[info]last_thessaliad on February 6th, 2007 12:04 am (UTC)

His whims got him killed.

I'm sorry, his whims only brought him trouble. His concern about other people, that was his fatal flaw.

There, there, Madam.

It was but Augustine de Hippo's conviction: better to have loved and lost, than to not have loved at all.

I didn't love him.

If they are a bother, fire could solve that problem.

If such violence is the best expression of the Lady's volition, then so be it. Such things do not befall my consideration, least of all deliberation.

He was here and now he's gone again.

...I... do not presume to understand how both incarnations could coexist even for the while, Madam. Certainly, the young pup is very... assertive.
Thessaly: concern[info]last_thessaliad on February 6th, 2007 12:25 am (UTC)
It was his choice. The fatal flaw: caring too much about others.
jolly_old_hoom: the child[info]jolly_old_hoom on February 6th, 2007 12:30 am (UTC)
...if that is your opinion, Madam.

Ah! Your humble pardon - I hold the advantage, and here you, a Lady. As proper introductions would have it: Gilbert, Madam. As all things and the Lord will have it, likely we shall see of each other.

I know who you are, Fiddler's Green. I go by Larissa.
jolly_old_hoom[info]jolly_old_hoom on February 6th, 2007 01:09 am (UTC)
Gilbert, Madam. If it pleases you. Has a certain ring to it, I suspect. There was a young lady who rather fancied it best.
